In the heart of Salento, where the sun warms the earth and the wind carries the scent of the sea and Mediterranean scrub, a story born of dedication, love for nature, and respect for the roots unfolds. It is the story of Vivai Schito, a company that has turned a personal passion into a benchmark for quality greenery and cultivation.

The origins of a green dream

From a young age, Pierangelo Schito showed a deep connection with the land. His curiosity about plant growth and his interest in biodiversity led him to experiment, observe, and learn. What started as a hobby in his free time soon became a concrete project: to create a nursery that combines expertise, innovation, and respect for the environment.

The first steps and the challenges

Like any authentic story, that of Vivai Schito began with limited resources but with great determination. The first barbatelle, the first fruit trees, the daily care of each seedling: everything started from constant work and the desire to offer high-quality, healthy, and strong products. Challenges were not lacking, from climate difficulties to the need to make the business known, but every obstacle became an opportunity to grow and improve.

Growth and Salento roots

Over time, Vivai Schito has become synonymous with reliability and professionalism. The company has kept its roots firmly in the Salento region, promoting native plants and varieties best suited to the local climate. Today, the nursery represents a place where tradition and innovation coexist, where each plant is carefully nurtured step by step, from seed to the moment it reaches the customer.

The value of the environment and the community

Beyond production, the nursery has always believed in the value of the environment and the connection with the community. Promoting the culture of greenery also means educating people about respect for nature, caring for the land, and the beauty that only plants can bring. Vivai Schito is not just a place of work, but a meeting point for people who share the same passion for life and the land.

Conclusion

The story of Vivai Schito is one of roots, growth, and passion. It is a testament to how a love for nature, combined with expertise and dedication, can create something lasting and authentic. Today, every plant that grows in the nursery carries a piece of this story: a story that continues to sprout, day after day, in the heart of Salento.
